The Descendants of Valentine Hollingsworth Sr. Society (DVHSS) welcomes all descendants and interested researchers of the Hollingsworth, Hollandsworth, Hollingworth, Hollinworth or related lines (including Ree, Calvert, Conoway, Malin, Atkinson, Robinson, Cook, Harlan, and Heald), during the period of 1575 through the present day within England, Northern Ireland and North America. Any person who is interested in researching and exchanging documented evidence supporting Hollingsworth and related surname lines is invited and strongly encouraged to join in support of our objectives.
The membership year extends from July 1 to June 30. Application for membership can be acheived either on-line on this web site with a credit card through our third party membership management company called "Cheddar Up", or via the traditional download of an application form and mailing that completed paper form and a check to our Treasurer. For the on-line application, please select "On-line Membership Application & Renewal" from the "Membership" Menu tab. This will take you to our Cheddar Up page where you can complete the on-line form, provide your credit card info and submit the application. For the original mail-in process, select the "Mail-in Membership Application & Renewal" tab and download the membership application form. Members will receive the certificate of membership shown above upon acceptance into the Society. Members receive copies of the Society's quarterly journal, the Hollingsworth Heritage and receive full access to the members only area of this website. This includes access to our Family Tree databases, Military History Project, DNA Testing Program History, all prior issues of the Hollingsworth Heritage, our Photo Gallery and more. In addition, members may vote in the annual business meeting, held during our yearly reunion. Information on our databases and a sample of the Hollingsworth Heritage Journal are located in the related sections of this website.
